Thando lived as a passionate disciple of Jesus. She purposefully pursued relationships that would grow her faith and that would also grow other’s belief in our Lord. She was keen to point out bluntly what was wrong when something went wayward. Yet she deeply and authentically loved people even strangers.
In 2009, Thando settled in Jeffreys Bay and started attending Ithemba Family Church. It is from there combined with being a member of the Disciples of God that she eventually gave her life to Christ as her saviour and Messiah. She publicly professed following Jesus and asked to be baptized in the Indian Ocean.
Her life since then shifted significantly towards serving the lost. In 2010 she became a student of the Leadership Experience servant leadership training school which she would eventually lead as dean of students. Thando’s work ethic conjured trust and reliability which made it easy for the LXP leadership to entrust her with the management of finances, transport and leading the Purity Avenue and Compassion ministries after the founders left LXP.
A lifelong learner, she was in pursuant of a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.
She lived. She loved. She laughed.
Thando’s life is forever to be celebrated. May Her Soul Rest In Peace.
